Following training in machine and assembly level programming in the late seventies, David was involved in the liberalisation of UK telecommunications right from it's inception, starting with BT and then as Strategic Projects Director for one of the start-up Cable TV companies, introducing the first cable telephony service in the UK at that time, and chairing cross-industry working groups. David also worked with utilities such as water and electricity, building on his experience with privatisation of the telecoms market. David is now working for Cable & Wireless Europe, Asia and the US, leading up the Architecture team. |

Becky Albin has worked for Software AG for 20 years in various roles including Adabas mainframe R&D, and is currently the Chief Adabas Architect. Prior to Software AG, Becky worked for a Software AG customer for several years. |

Mhairi Benest, Principal Database Administrator, JPMorganChase
Mhairi Benest has worked for JP Morgan Chase for almost 20 years and has extensive experience of Software AG's mainframe technologies. Working primarily with the ADABAS product set including Fastpath, VISTA, SAF and Review, Mhairi is responsible for all product installations and also provides technical support to the bank's own internal development community. |

Miko Matsumura, Vice President & Deputy CTO, Software AG
Miko Matsumura is Vice President and Deputy CTO at Software AG. He spearheaded the SOA initiative at webMethods, Inc. as vice president of SOA product marketing. He also served as chair of the SOA Adoption Blueprints Technical Committee at Oasis and is the organizer of the SOA Link Interoperability Initiative.
Prior to the recent acquisition of Infravio, Inc. by webMethods, Miko served as vice president of marketing and technology standards at Infravio, where he led marketing operations and strategic planning. |

Guido Falkenberg is Director of Enterprise Transaction Systems at Software AG. With more than 15 years at Software AG, Falkenberg has extensive experience with mainframe, XML and middleware integration technology. Most of his time has been spent in R&D and as an IT enterprise architect helping companies design and develop service-oriented architectures. Falkenberg is also an SAP integration technology expert – experience he acquired while working for SAP Systems Integration AG. |
